Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to improve large-scale data and systems.
• Ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications and resolve complex technical nuances.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation.
• Drive daily activities supporting standard capacity processes and identify potential capacity risks.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to govern remediation statuses and ensure resiliency.
• Make significant technical decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.

Requirements

• 6+ years of applied infrastructure engineering experience.
• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Operating knowledge of software-defined networks (SDN), zero-touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, or Wi-Fi.
• Proficiency in network infrastructure programming languages such as Python or Ansible.
• Experience with network security technologies and practices.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate across public and private clouds.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools within engineering workflows with strong validation habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wired/wireless LAN, BGP WAN, and 802.1x technologies.
• Hands-on experience with vendors including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical challenges and ideas clearly.
