About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze capacity and performance data across infrastructure and applications to identify hotspots and recommend upgrades or downgrades
- Design, build, and maintain analytical models for capacity forecasting, risk analysis, and ad-hoc business needs
- Deliver increased automation and tooling capability across capacity management processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and understand capacity requirements
- Present modeling recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation while ensuring data security and auditability
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering
- Expertise in infrastructure operations including virtual servers, Kubernetes, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Excel, Tableau, or Grafana
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or BMC Truesight
- Coding skills in modern programming languages, specifically Java or Python
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and experience developing time series models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet) to forecast trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building agentic AI systems that automate complex workflows
- Proficiency with foundation models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- Experience with AI frameworks such as Python, RAG, LangChain, or LangGraph
