Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and technical direction for Brisk's platform, including core infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer tooling
• Mentor and grow a small team of platform and infrastructure engineers
• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure
• Drive reliability and scalability to support an expanding user base
• Lead observability, monitoring, incident response, and on-call practices
• Partner with product engineers to ensure smooth development workflows and production stability
• Make architectural decisions balancing rapid development with long-term reliability and security

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure
• People management experience or a track record as a tech lead/mentor
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-native architectures on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring tools
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or leading a Platform, Infrastructure, or DevEx team
• Background in security best practices for infrastructure and data
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-moving team environment
• Experience working with AI-powered systems or AI infrastructure integration
• Experience with analytics infrastructure, data pipelines, or cloud cost management
