Lead Infrastructure Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise and web-level hosting platforms, including application, web, and database servers
• Drive infrastructure improvements by assessing existing systems and implementing practical solutions
• Develop technical roadmaps and solutions that align with client business goals and challenges
• Collaborate with business, marketing, and functional development teams to shape cloud and infrastructure practices
• Establish automated controls and processes for continuous application delivery
• Act as a thought leader in DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure engineering for both clients and internal teams
• Build trusted partnerships with client leadership, including CIOs and CTOs

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud, virtualization, and application hosting technologies
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps principles, and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language
• Experience building and managing Linux and/or Windows server systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools across various technology stacks
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring systems (e.g., distributed tracing, log aggregation, metrics, and health checks)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
• Experience with performance and stress testing in distributed environments
