Lead Infrastructure Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise-level and web-scale hosting platforms, including application, web, and database servers
• Drive DevOps transformation by implementing infrastructure automation and continuous delivery processes
• Act as a thought leader in cloud and infrastructure engineering, building trusted partnerships with client CIOs and CTOs
• Develop technical roadmaps and innovative solutions to meet challenging business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and build Thoughtworks' cloud and infrastructure practices
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure technical expectations and quality standards are consistently met

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building enterprise/web hosting platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud (IaaS/PaaS), virtualization, and infrastructure automation
• Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies, Agile practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language and experience with Linux and/or Windows server systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and configuration management tools
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
• Experience with performance testing, log aggregation, and self-healing multi-cloud architectures
