Lead Infrastructure Consultant - Senior Manager, Engineering Assets & Governance

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for standardized engineering assets across Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure Services (CIS).
• Define and govern engineering standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Act as the design authority for the entire asset lifecycle, from initial creation through adoption and continuous evolution.
• Drive industrialization and platform-led execution across global engineering teams.
• Ensure all assets align with Microsoft platform best practices and evolving technology trends.
• Influence senior stakeholders and business leaders on the value of standardization and asset reuse.
• Measure asset effectiveness and implement continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, platform, or infrastructure leadership roles.
• Proven track record of defining and governing reusable engineering assets or industry standards.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure technologies.
• Experience operating in formal design authority, standards, or governance roles.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive large-scale adoption of technical standards.
• Experience working within large-scale or global Cloud & Infrastructure Services environments.
• Background in platform engineering, engineering enablement, or industrialization.
• Practical exposure to automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), or DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
