Lead In-Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients for errands or appointments using a personal vehicle
• Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitor and report on client condition
• Cover critical shifts, including fill-ins, new clients, and training shifts for new caregivers
• Remain available on-call during assigned availability times

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle capable of transporting clients
• One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home settings
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• Smartphone with ability to use the AxisCare app
• Ability to provide care beyond companionship for various care levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license
