About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise all family planning and abortion care functions at the assigned work location to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage daily clinical operations, including monitoring clinic flow and integrating front office operations with patient service areas.
- Hire, coach, evaluate, and schedule clinical and administrative staff to ensure adequate coverage and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to family planning services.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to other health center managers through remote support and onsite visits to ensure standardization.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as cash handling, inventory management, medical record documentation, and patient insurance verification.
- Achieve clinic goals regarding financial performance, customer service, and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
- 1-2 years of related experience or training in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Proven supervisory experience in a clinical or health care environment.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Administrative leadership experience in an ambulatory surgical center, reproductive health clinic, or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%) to support other health centers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic.
