About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Hardware Team and own engineering, quality, hiring, and team building
- Manage communication with internal and external resources including supply chain and test validation teams
- Build capabilities across various electrical engineering domains
- Drive products from concept through to production
- Responsible for team training, hiring, morale, and culture
- Evaluate project budgets and resource allocation
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in product development with successful product cycles
- Proven track record of taking 2 to 3 products from concept to production (Design, Analysis, and DFX)
- Experience leading and building product development teams
- Hands-on experience with cross-functional hardware aspects including mechanical packaging, firmware, thermal design, and costing
- Strong background in Electrical or Electronics engineering
