Lead Hand Sprinkler Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, service calls, and repairs on various sprinkler-based systems including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
• Provide leadership and verbal/written instructions to apprentices
• Maintain accurate documentation for all work performed
• Ensure a clean and safe work area while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with branch staff and customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
• Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
• Participate in an on-call rotation and work flexible hours, including weekends, as required

Requirements

• Sprinkler Fitter Red Seal Certification
• Backflow Certification
• 5+ years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs
• Ability to work in difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel
