Lead Hand-SC

Responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse activities and employees to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and meet productivity and quality goals
• Resolve production and personnel issues during shifts and report significant problems to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Administer company policies and represent Staples in a professional manner
• Maintain housekeeping standards and oversee equipment maintenance
• Enforce all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience, including operating warehouse equipment
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds
• Capacity to perform moderate physical effort, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills to foster positive working relationships
