Lead Hand - Landscape Construction

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and heavy equipment including skid steers, excavators, and tampers
• Set grades using laser levels, screed sand for pavers, and lay base courses for walls
• Install green roofs, water features, and plant landscapes following BCLNA standards
• Lead on-site activities and act as site leader when required
• Ensure team safety through daily inspections and toolbox talks
• Build positive relationships with customers and teammates

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in landscaping or construction
• Physical stamina for outdoor work and heavy lifting
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a leadership role
• Computer or iPad literacy for work tracking
• Post-secondary trades education or progress toward Red Seal in Landscaping/Horticulture
