Lead Hand

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
• Lead the unloading of trucks while enforcing safety measures and conducting audits
• Motivate, mentor, and coach warehouse associates and new hires
• Support the supervision of sorting, scanning, and processing of packages and returns
• Manage workforce deployment and assign labor as required
• Oversee shipping and receiving, including unloading trailers and verifying freight against manifests
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and perform necessary data entry

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance and warehouse safety standards
• Experience with sorting, scanning, and package processing operations
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures and data entry
• Ability to manage warehouse organization and workflow efficiency
