Lead Graph Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, distributed systems using cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations to showcase new technical ideas.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Contribute to architectural design reviews, code reviews, and debugging efforts.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and global multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Manage and collaborate with contractors while ensuring timely delivery and system performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, database design, or software development.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development or database design.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Neo4j, including graph modeling, Cypher queries, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of graph theory (nodes, relationships, traversals, and centrality algorithms).
• Experience with APIs, Microservices, and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with graph analytics, ML integrations, or knowledge graphs.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Exposure to supply chain, product lifecycle, or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
