Lead Generator Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and problem resolution for generator systems and associated auxiliaries
• Support generator operation, maintenance, commissioning, and outage activities at customer sites
• Prepare and deliver technical reports, specifications, and presentations
• Conduct troubleshooting, verification, and root cause analysis
• Liaise between field and design teams to address technical challenges
• Collaborate with procurement teams on technical specifications and vendor qualifications
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Represent the company during inspections, customer meetings, and technical reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in generator design, operation, repair, or commissioning
• Strong knowledge of generator mechanical components such as bearings, seals, and rotor components
• Experience with large rotating machinery
• Ability to write technical reports, specifications, and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in business English
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with gas and steam turbines
• Japanese language skills
