About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition activities by sourcing vertical-market-software companies through prospecting campaigns
- Creatively identify software businesses that meet strategic acquisition criteria
- Maintain and build a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Develop and conduct outbound prospecting via email and phone calls
- Collaborate with Senior Business Development Associates to ensure smooth transitions in the acquisition process
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic financial literacy
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
- Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency
- Undergraduate Business or Marketing Degree preferred
- 1 year or less of Software Sales experience preferred
- Salesforce CRM experience is beneficial
