About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive acquisition activities by sourcing vertical-market-software companies through prospecting campaigns
  • Creatively identify software businesses that meet strategic acquisition criteria
  • Maintain and build a proprietary database of industry contacts
  • Develop and conduct outbound prospecting via email and phone calls
  • Collaborate with Senior Business Development Associates to ensure smooth transitions in the acquisition process

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic financial literacy
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency
  • Undergraduate Business or Marketing Degree preferred
  • 1 year or less of Software Sales experience preferred
  • Salesforce CRM experience is beneficial
