Lead General Education Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for the General Education program aligned with university mission and objectives.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), curriculum standards, and delivery requirements for the program.
• Lead strategic initiatives, program management, and partnership development to drive innovation in learning design.
• Monitor program effectiveness through regular assessment and implement strategies to enhance student success and workforce readiness.
• Manage and lead a team of direct reports, including people leaders and individual contributors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to execute new products and processes.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with external organizations, academic partners, and corporate entities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and manage program change control processes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field or discipline.
• 4 years of relevant professional experience in addition to a master's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience working within an educational institution or an education technology company.
• Proven ability to analyze data to identify trends and drive strategic innovation.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field.
• Degree in a Math-related field.
• Experience in higher education, competency-based education, or online education.
• Experience developing online education programs or scaling rapidly changing organizations.
• Experience in curriculum development or high-stakes assessments.
• Demonstrated success in change management and navigating complex organizational structures.
