Lead Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for a new product being built from scratch
• Build full-stack features end-to-end across frontend and backend
• Mentor and manage 1–2 engineers, providing feedback and unblocking them
• Partner with product and design to translate problems into shippable scope
• Set standards for code quality, testing, and review practices
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between development speed and system durability

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks like Next.js or Vue
• Proven track record of building products from 0 to 1
• Experience leading technical output for a small team
• Strong backend skills including API design and relational databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytics tooling, observability, and feature flagging
• Previous experience managing engineers directly
