Lead Front-end Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, scalable front-end solutions for the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform.
• Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that interface with Spring Boot back-ends.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand requirements and create solutions that meet diverse business needs.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, or troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (CI/CD, security, resiliency).
• Experience with cloud deployment solutions, specifically Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Competency in HTML, CSS, SVG, ES6, Lodash, and NodeJS.
• Experience with build tools such as Nx and Maven.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud environments.
