About the role
Responsibilities
- Update and complete Training Manuals and SOPs
- Initiate and lead cross shift training sessions
- Train new agents and offer refresher training to tenured staff
- Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when needed and assist with guest-related issues
- Perform hotel tours to monitor performance and identify engineering issues
- Manage room inventory on sold out nights to maximize occupancy
- Greet guests and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude
- Coordinate with other departments regarding guest needs
- Assist in emergency and security procedures
Requirements
- 1 year of previous hotel experience in front desk or guest services
- Knowledge of Front Office operations (Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services)
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and industry software
- Ability to handle difficult customer interactions
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in a related field
