Lead - Footwear Pattern Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish pattern guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across all development centers
• Develop precise footwear patterns for key styles based on designer sketches or concepts
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support during product development meetings
• Conduct pattern audits at each line review stage to ensure alignment with aesthetic, comfort, and performance requirements
• Optimize key style patterns to improve production efficiency, minimize material waste, and reduce costs
• Lead the pattern commercialization process, maintaining technical accuracy and production feasibility
• Ensure pattern grading adheres to production standards and aligns with material properties
• Oversee product development and commercialization timelines to guarantee on-time deliveries

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software such as CRISPIN or ShoeMaster
• Experience with 2D/3D design tools for pattern creation and refinement
• Strong expertise in footwear manufacturing processes, material properties, and pattern engineering
• Ability to balance creativity with structure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to travel frequently to manufacturing partners
