Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees within the operations department
• Manage production plans, coordinate people resource requirements, and communicate daily plans
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects
• Monitor production bottlenecks, report downtime, and interface with maintenance regarding equipment issues
• Highlight material shortages and interface with Expediting/Purchasing teams
• Track time for NPI, pre-production, and re-work tasks
• Monitor quality indicators and act as the primary contact for responding to scrap occurrences
• Provide ongoing performance feedback through formal and informal evaluations
• Ensure seamless communication flow between shifts and update department communication boards

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skill level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
