Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing feedback on individual performance through formal and informal evaluations
• Coordinate people resource requirements and assist in department budget planning
• Communicate daily production plans and address customer service or material shortage issues
• Monitor production bottlenecks and alert resources regarding equipment downtime
• Interface with Test Support and Maintenance to resolve equipment problems
• Track time for NPI, pre-production, and re-work tasks
• Ensure seamless communication flow between shifts and update department communication boards
• Monitor quality indicators and act as the primary contact for scrap-related situations

Requirements

• Associate's Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Advanced technical skills and functional process knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle concrete variables in non-standardized situations
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret moderately complex written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations including rates, ratios, and percentages
