Lead Fire Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage key fire and life safety projects in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region
• Conduct performance-based design, sensitivity analysis, and code consulting
• Perform fire safety drawing reviews and technical report preparation
• Attend client design meetings and manage project expectations, schedules, and budgets
• Lead design reviews and assist in business development and proposal creation
• Lead and mentor a small team of fire engineers and interact with stakeholders

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience
• Extensive experience in tunnel fire engineering, including ventilation, structural resistance, suppression, and evacuation strategies
• Working experience in the Middle East region
• Postgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering
• Ability to work independently and mentor young professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards becoming a Chartered engineer
