Lead Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Kiewit’s safety culture and commitment to "Nobody Gets Hurt."
• Provide senior management and oversight for multiple construction teams through preconstruction and construction processes.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager to build long-term partnerships and generate new business.
• Oversee project performance, including financial health, scheduling, and client relations.
• Collaborate during the preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development processes.
• Lead contract negotiations and solution development.
• Ensure sufficient staffing resources and assist in employee development, recruiting, and retention.
• Support executive leadership with strategy development and business initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the Power Construction market.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent related experience.
• Proven experience serving as a Project Manager or Project Director for construction teams.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction standards, including scheduling, contracts, and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed based on project availability.
