Lead Failure Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analysis of hardware failures from reliability testing and production line yield losses
• Conduct structured investigations including physical teardown, electrical measurement, and data analysis
• Develop failure hypotheses and design experiments to validate findings
• Document findings in Notion and create structured debug processes
• Translate analysis into recommendations for Production, Design, and Supplier Quality teams
• Direct and coordinate a small team of technicians at the manufacturing facility
• Monitor HASS testing results to identify emerging failure modes

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in hardware failure analysis or reliability engineering
• Strong practical skills in electronics debugging
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing or working with contract manufacturers
• Familiarity with reliability testing methodologies such as HASS, HALT, or thermal cycling
• Experience working with international engineering teams across different time zones
• Ability to analytically interpret test data and identify statistical trends
