About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the chiller plant, boilers, and kitchen repairs
- Supervise and advise O&M staff
- Verify the completion of all work orders
- Ensure heating and cooling mechanical systems and their equipment function safely, reliably, and efficiently
- Maintain and operate facility Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Keep the Computerized Maintenance Management System current
- Respond to after-hours emergencies from off-shift personnel
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience managing a crew of 10 or more
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for electrical, control, fire alarm, and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
- Understanding of industry codes and technical processes
