Lead Fabrication Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the fabrication and Test team
• Perform high-pressure pneumatic operations and hydrostatic testing
• Set up and operate Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems including FlexLogger and LabView
• Troubleshoot and repair valves, regulators, and pressure transducers
• Work with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure testing accuracy
• Handle LN2/cryogenic components during testing procedures
• Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with EDM, Orbital tube welding, deburring, and welding
• Experience with clean line operations
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, and composites
• Hands-on experience with valves, regulators, and pressure relief valves
• Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes and P&IDs
• Ability to work A Shift (Monday-Friday 5:00am – 1:30pm)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on a production floor
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with torquing and safety/lock wire installation
• Experience with environment tests (proof and leak)
• A&P, trade, or industry certification
• Experience with inventory control and in-space testing
