About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver the LensCrafters Experience by managing optometric care steps and driving store performance
- Greet customers promptly and handle telephone inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
- Explain required paperwork, clinical tests, products, and services to patients
- Perform pre-examination testing with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their vision, lifestyle, and budget
- Manage patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Operate POS systems accurately, including processing payments, insurance, and discounts
- Maintain contact lens inventory, including disinfection and clinical support for the Optometrist
- Ensure the store appearance meets company visual display guidelines
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 year of professional experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with basic math, computers, and cash registers
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure and high customer volume
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or optical environment
