Lead Exchange Connectivity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build, and operation of feed handlers across all connected venues
• Lead connectivity go-lives, including planning, staging, testing, cutover, and post-launch support
• Debug complex production connectivity issues across exchange protocols and internal systems
• Set technical standards for exchange integration and mentor engineers on connectivity components
• Contribute to HFT infrastructure where connectivity and execution overlap

Requirements

• Extensive crypto feed handler experience across multiple venues in a production institutional environment
• Minimum of 2+ years of solid technical Rust experience (sync and async)
• 5+ years of C++ experience in a low-latency environment
• Deep understanding of market data feed handling, order lifecycle management, and multi-feed aggregation
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including HTTP, WS, and TCP/IP
• Proven experience leading venue migrations and managing exchange-driven changes (EDC)
• Experience with AI-first development workflows and AI harness engineering
• Previous leadership experience as a technical lead or team lead

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a team or squad of connectivity engineers
• Experience across both TradFi and crypto connectivity (FIX, ITCH, OUCH, WebSocket, proprietary)
• Experience with ultra-low-latency development such as kernel-bypass and zero-copy
• Proven track record of delivering AI code generation workflows in production
