Lead ESH Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the ESH manager in identifying, solving, and alleviating health and safety issues within the facility
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OSHA regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement by defining and implementing actions to update internal standards and procedures
• Oversee occupational health management, including contractor oversight and wellness programs
• Conduct internal incident investigations and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Plan and implement local audit procedures to ensure conformity with the ESSH management system
• Develop and maintain safety and health training materials and ensure employee qualification and record-keeping
• Coordinate with the Crisis Management Team to conduct drills and guarantee emergency response readiness
• Perform systematic Gemba walks and individual risk assessments to drive technical improvement measures

Requirements

• Degree in Safety and Health, Environmental, Chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Safety and Health within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OSHA compliance standards
• Proven experience with risk management and associated methodologies
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Previous safety and health experience working within an international company
