Lead ER Veterinary Technician

Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital (CASE) is a 24/7 Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Referral Hospital providing advanced emergency, critical care, surgical, and specialty services across Western North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical and operational leader on the floor during the 3rd shift
• Act as a mentor and support resource for overnight staff
• Serve as a point of escalation for workflow and client service concerns
• Partner with overnight veterinarians to ensure continuity of care
• Manage real-time problem solving and workflow management
• Support Emergency & ICU operations and client communication

Requirements

• Experience as an Emergency Veterinary Technician, ER Lead Tech, or seasoned Veterinary Assistant
• Advanced ER/ICU experience
• Leadership capability and ability to mentor staff
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle client de-escalation
• Experience in overnight hospital operations preferred
