Lead Environment Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceive, create, and lead the team in producing innovative visual experiences for AAA titles
• Manage art teams effectively and ensure timely delivery of assets
• Implement and develop solid art production pathways
• Manage resources and assign artists of varying skill sets to numerous studio projects
• Troubleshoot technical issues and assess risks to find creative solutions
• Liaise with and present to clients in a professional and authoritative manner
• Manage deadlines and budgets autonomously

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in console development
• At least 2 shipped titles, with at least one served in a Lead Artist capacity
• Proven experience in team management and resource allocation
• 2-3 years of experience developing and implementing art production pathways
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills for directing internal and external teams
• Deep understanding of cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools
• Ability to manage deadlines and budgets with excellent time management

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience generating a diverse range of artistic styles
• Technical expertise with current-gen technology
• Strong illustration skills
