Lead Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians providing technical expertise and testing support for pneumatic and actuation components.
• Manage day-to-day testing associated with the research, development, and qualification of components.
• Perform functional testing at various stages of the development lifecycle, including in-service component investigations.
• Provide test support including setup, fabrication, operation, and maintenance of test operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in test units or systems through data analysis and instrumentation interpretation.
• Participate in process improvement activities, including test equipment selection and procedure generation.
• Maintain compliance with Company issued Quality and Regulatory (FAA) stamps for test activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 3 years of experience in actuation and pneumatic valve testing.
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the qualification process for new product development.
• Practical experience working with engineering equipment in actuation product lines.
• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to apply Six Sigma procedures and find effective solutions based on root causes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team or project setting.
