Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-performance engineering teams to develop a revolutionary finance marketplace product.
• Design and develop scalable software components, systems, and microservices.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to ideate product builds and ensure technical alignment with Architects.
• Participate in code and design reviews to establish best software design and development practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and code craftsmanship.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to drive product quality.
• Participate in technical hiring activities to attract top engineering talent.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in full stack development, delivering enterprise-class web and mobile applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React JS.
• Expertise in Java technologies, specifically Spring, Hibernate, and Kafka.
• Proven experience designing scalable applications capable of handling millions of transactions.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS, including schema design for large data volumes.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
