Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration between the Hogan core banking platform and modern distributed systems
• Own and lead Hogan modules end-to-end, guiding teams through complex Hogan-driven initiatives
• Set technical direction and drive the execution of large-scale Hogan enhancements
• Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions for complex projects and multi-program initiatives
• Define and evolve engineering standards and best practices across technology disciplines
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and external partners to resolve complex technical issues
• Mentor engineers to elevate technical maturity across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on coding experience with Hogan core components (online and batch processing)
• Deep understanding of Hogan CIS architecture and Hogan data groups
• Proficiency with ALM and Octane for defect tracking and test management
• Experience using 3270 terminal screens for Hogan inquiry and operational support
• Expertise in PCDs and PAS message structures, including implementation and troubleshooting
• Experience developing Hogan online programs using PCD-based integrations
• Experience building and managing Hogan batch extracts and downstream data consumption
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) for Hogan
