Lead Engineer - Storage Admin

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for Storage Engineers
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across multi-vendor storage platforms
• Develop and review high-quality architecture diagrams and detailed design documents
• Lead and execute storage provisioning, migrations, and upgrades
• Oversee integration, performance, scalability, and failover testing for enterprise systems
• Provide technical leadership during customer meetings, project planning, and solution design workshops
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in storage engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture
• Proven experience architecting and deploying enterprise-class storage, compute, and virtualization solutions
• Strong customer-facing experience in consulting, delivery, or presales environments
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior engineers
• Advanced knowledge of Dell EMC, Hitachi, NetApp, HPE, or Pure Storage platforms
• Strong understanding of Cisco MDS and Brocade Fiber switching architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as NetApp NCIE, Dell EMC Proven Professional, or Pure Storage Specialist
• Experience with VMware technologies including vSphere, NSX, and vSAN
• Experience with Cisco UCS architecture and Fabric Interconnect configuration
• Experience with multi-site, hybrid-cloud, or large-scale enterprise infrastructures
