Lead Engineer, Senior - Camera

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to design customized software for optimal operational efficiency.
• Design and implement software modules for next-generation camera systems and products.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding for large features, unit testing, debugging, and integration.
• Perform code reviews and regression tests to ensure high code quality and stability.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineering teams to design system-level software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent experience based on advanced degree).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with API implementation and integration.
• Experience with Database Management Software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically with Database Management Software.
• 3+ years of experience working with APIs.
• 1+ year of experience with Source Code Management Systems such as Git or Perforce.
