About the role
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of changes in the field of safety control technology
- Create, review, and evaluate concepts and technical specifications
- Conduct tenders, evaluate offers, and support the procurement process
- Lead approval and release procedures with regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements (Nuclear Energy Act, ENSI guidelines, etc.)
- Responsible for the integration and commissioning of plant changes
- Coordinate involved internal departments (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Cyber Security) and external suppliers
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree (ETH/University) in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in control technology, ideally with safety-relevant and high-availability systems in energy production (e.g., power plants, process industry, nuclear technology)
- Experience in the planning, commissioning, and operation of control technology facilities
- Willingness to lead employees in small interdisciplinary work and project teams
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of project execution
- Solution-oriented and structured way of working
