Lead Engineer - Projects

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects within the aerospace and defense sector, focusing on product development life cycles
• Manage and report on earned value metrics to the program office and other key stakeholders
• Oversee both software and hardware product development life cycles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and operations disciplines
• Apply familiarity with Aerospace (RTCA FAA) or Automotive design standards and techniques

Requirements

• BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech or equivalent degree
• 3 to 6 years of overall design and development experience
• 1 to 2 years of project management experience, preferably in safety-critical systems (Aerospace, Automotive, or Healthcare)
• Proficiency in MS Project Professional, including resource loading and critical path analysis
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or Agile Certification
• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing and operations teams
