Lead Engineer - Product Development

Responsibilities

• Drive digitalization activities to develop modular design processes for increased speed and quality assurance.
• Set up and conduct simulations to verify new designs and analyze tolerance settings.
• Develop, document, and implement new design rules to ensure cost efficiency and product performance.
• Participate in and drive product development projects ranging from catalogue to customer-specific offers.
• Plan, drive, and report on design requests and engineering tasks both locally and globally.
• Lead investigations related to engineering changes to support risk assessment and decision-making.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a product development role with OEMs.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of machine element design and casting processes.
• Proficiency in English with good communication skills.
• Experience with product development techniques such as DFSS, DFMEA, or DVVP.
• Industrial experience in bearings, drives, or heavy industries like cement or mining.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting simulations and connecting analysis to product performance.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, specifically PTC CREO.
• Expertise in materials and heat treatment.
• Background in Research and Development, Application Engineering, or Manufacturing.
