Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manual and automation testing activities for software components across IoT and cloud-based applications
• Design test strategies, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with development, systems, and DevOps teams to validate integrated solutions and support CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure quality readiness for releases through defect analysis, risk assessment, and continuous improvement
• Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance to the team

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Applications or B Tech in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of software development or testing experience
• Strong expertise in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing
• Solid understanding of IoT architectures and device-to-cloud interaction
• Experience in cloud testing environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Programming or scripting knowledge in Python or an equivalent language
• Experience in API testing for integrated and distributed systems
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps quality practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
