Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of a new, high-priority AI module for LawConnect
• Architect, build, and scale a consumer-facing AI experience from 0–1
• Own technical decisions across system design, performance, security, and reliability
• Define engineering culture, standards, and operating rhythms for an international team
• Build scalable backend services and polished frontend experiences
• Prototype and refine AI-driven features using generative AI models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product leaders and senior stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Strong experience in system design, database architecture, and API development
• Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing engineering teams
• Experience with generative AI, automation workflows, or agent-based systems is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills for working with senior leadership
