Lead Engineer – L1 Integration

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle and system-level electrical and software integration strategy, execution, and release readiness
• Manage integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture
• Own software integration and validation per vehicle software maturity and release gates
• Validate network topology, gateway routing, signal database integrity, and bandwidth utilization
• Manage vehicle communication across CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay
• Validate bootloader compatibility, flashing strategy, and AUTOSAR partitioning
• Coordinate integration across Powertrain, Body, ADAS, Infotainment, and Zonal Controllers
• Drive root cause analysis for cross-domain issues and support integration war-room activities
• Validate UDS/DoIP response timing, diagnostic sessions, and DTC accuracy

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Proficiency in automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and UDS diagnostics
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Proficiency in ALM/PLM tools like Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Familiarity with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe
