About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration of infotainment cluster, driver and center displays, and telemetry modules in SDV architectures
  • Lead integration and verification of Android, Linux, and QNX subsystem modules
  • Bridge the gap between core software developers and vehicle hardware integration teams
  • Develop robust test strategies for subsystem modules on HIL/SIL test benches and physical vehicles
  • Drive test automation using Python-based automated test frameworks
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for immediate code verification
  • Perform root cause analysis on complex software-hardware interactions and memory bottlenecks
  • Debug communication issues across vehicle networks using CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
  • Profile and optimize system performance, including cold-boot times and CPU/memory usage
  • Architect HIL test benches leveraging dSPACE or NI hardware
  • Manage traceability of test coverage from requirements to validation
  • Own system-level regression test planning and support integration war-room activities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 12+ years of professional experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
  • Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, A2B, LVDS)
  • Experience with UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229)
  • Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
  • Proficiency in ALM/PLM tools such as Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for HIL test environments and dSPACE
  • Familiarity with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer and CANoe
