Lead Engineer - Automation Tooling

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable CI/CD systems for embedded and vehicle software platforms
• Build automation frameworks for continuous integration, testing, regression, and OTA readiness
• Develop internal engineering tools to improve developer velocity and software quality
• Lead automation efforts for embedded Linux, ECU software, and vehicle middleware
• Design infrastructure for distributed test execution across SIL/HIL benches and cloud environments
• Build intelligent test orchestration systems, including AI-driven use cases
• Integrate automated quality gates such as static analysis, security scanning, and performance validation
• Drive "shift-left" validation practices to detect issues earlier in the lifecycle
• Partner with firmware, platform, vehicle integration, and cloud infrastructure teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 12+ years of professional experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and UDS diagnostics
• Expertise with DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Familiarity with HIL/SIL automation frameworks and large-scale simulation infrastructure
• Experience with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe
