Lead Engineer Air Filtration

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of air filtration systems and filter fan units
• Define product concepts, technical specifications, and system interfaces
• Oversee the design of housings, fan systems, electronics integration, and filter elements
• Assess technical feasibility, risks, costs, performance, and regulatory compliance
• Guide testing, validation, and continuous product optimization
• Collaborate with Product Management on market requirements and roadmap planning
• Work with internal design teams to provide technical direction for detailed drawings
• Support prototyping, industrialization, and managing product changes

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Several years of experience in product development of technical systems
• Strong design engineering expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams
• Knowledge of air filtration, HVAC, cleanroom, or related technologies
• Good understanding of CAD development processes
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CATIA and/or SolidWorks
