Lead Electromechanical Design and Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and qualification of complex electromechanical products.
• Resolve critical program issues related to architectural approaches, requirements, specifications, and design.
• Drive technical leadership by mentoring engineering teams and uplifting engineering practices.
• Coordinate engineering support throughout the entire product lifecycle, including PDR, CDR, and TDR reviews.
• Develop new concepts for future product designs and manage technology insertion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Oversee prototype development, including designing, simulating, building, and testing components.
• Provide technical quality reviews for mechanical, structural, and thermal environment documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent) with 12+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 11+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as Creo, NX, or Catia.
• Extensive experience with PLM systems like Teamcenter, Enovia, or 3DX.
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) standards.
• Proven experience in the complete design, development, and certification lifecycle of electromechanical products.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes (e.g., machining, forming, stamping, heat treatment).
• Advanced understanding of Design for Manufacture/Assembly (DFM/A) and DFX principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage medium to large projects.
