About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities and ensure priorities are met for the Melbourne CNS IPT
  • Oversee high-quality electrical assembly work, including soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating
  • Maintain effective pass-down communication with other shifts to ensure continuity
  • Inspect own work to ensure compliance with workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications
  • Comply with all Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, and Quality regulations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction plans, and audits
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report progress updates to the supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
  • Vocational or technical education in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant electrical assembly experience
  • U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CI or CQSI certification in Planar and Conformal Coat
  • Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills for navigating software and documentation
