About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update Daily 6s Safety Audit Logs, monitoring and tracking issues until closure.
  • Maintain accurate records and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists.
  • Support Safety Committee Meetings, monthly safety walks, and Emergency Action Plan drills.
  • Perform compliance and system audits to assess adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with near-miss and incident investigation processes upon request.
  • Supervise, coach, and train direct reports, ensuring high safety standards and accountability.
  • Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
  • Act as the voice of workers' safety needs by escalating issues and providing improvement feedback to site leadership.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience providing EHS support, with an emphasis on health and safety.
  • Proven supervisory experience, including coaching and leading teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work in controlled environments requiring the use of Tyvek bunny suits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and data recording.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma safety methods or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in manufacturing or high-tech environments.
  • Existing certification or progress toward CIH, CSP, or ASP certifications.
  • Knowledge of waste management (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and electronic).
